What is a Pre-Incubation Program?
It is a 6-week program to help your team validate your business concept using solar for the agriculture and fishery market.
  • The program includes
    4 Saturday afternoon sessions, a weekend bootcamp and a final Saturday afternoon to present your final concept.
  • The program will help you
    evaluate and validate your business model and develop a prototype concept.
  • We will provide business
    and technical assistance
    with mentors and advisors.

Summary Activities
Numerous activities were conducted to support the startups to validate their business concepts.
Introductory Workshop
Refining the ideas on the problem statement, problem- solution fit, value proposition, existing solutions, and competitions.
2-Day Bootcamp
The bootcamp included product review, problem-solution fit, inspiring entrepreneurs in solar-powered agricultural technology, business model, and introduction to financials.
Marketing Workshop
Customer journey, market strategy, and marketing basics including 4Ps (Product, Place, Price, Promotion) were introduced in the virtual workshop.
Financial Workshop
Outlined the basic cost of goods, revenue from sales, gross profits, expenses, margin and selling price.
Final Workshop and Preparation
A guidance on pitch preparation and the adjustments of overall business concept.
Final Pitch
The final pitch from startup teams in front of public participants, mentors, and professionals of the sector.

The 6-month acceleration program supports startups or established businesses in the agriculture and/or fishery sector using solar technology to become investment ready with investment-readiness training, technical mentorship, and meetings with potential funders, investors, and MFIs.
