In the effort to accelerate the mobility development, the inter-ministerial workshop was designed and delivered, in partnership with Cambodia Climate Change Alliance (CCCA) on March 10th, 2022 to provide capacity-building and necessary support to senior staff across relevant ministries such as Ministry of public works and transport (MPWT), Ministry of Environment (MoE), Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI), Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) and national authority like EDC to consider the different aspects that are critical to support Cambodia's transition towards electric vehicles.

The workshop provided a platform for every ministry involved to highlight their existing works while working to prepare towards the next steps in the following areas:
  • MPWT- Policy and standard
  • MEF - Taxes and financial incentives
  • MME/MISTI/EDC - Infrastructure and electricity
  • MoE/NCSD - Emission and carbon neutrality
