Program Coordinator
Energylab is seeking an enthusiastic, organised, flexible and adaptable Program Coordinator eager to support EnergyLab implement our EU funded Switch programs and support clean energy startups and businesses in the agri-fishery sector.

Responsibilities and Duties
Co-ordinate EU Switch to Solar Program:

  • Co-ordinate the smooth running of the design, implementation and evaluation of each activity of the program – hackathons, pre-incubation, incubation, internship activities and Clean Energy Week events.
  • Oversee logistics and work with admin team to arrange events
  • Actively support and create strong relationships with the participants in the incubation and internship activities.
  • Help build a strong community within and between each co-hort of participants in the incubation and internship program
  • Maintain excellent communication with past participants, mentors, sub-contractors, program partners, funders
  • Continuously work on the improvement and value creation of the program
  • Continuously identify and reach out to potential of Khmer mentors and partners who can support the current and future incubation teams and support the process to enrol them as mentors
  • Continuously track and learn about SMEs, new businesses in clean energy, agriculture, fishery, aquaculture sector

Program Reporting, Budgeting and Financial Reporting
  • Compile the data and information to prepare for quarterly and annual reports.
  • Prepare draft donors reports required for the program.
  • Manage sub-contractors' deliverables, track their time and budget
  • Manage the budgeting spend and forecasting for each aspect of the program
  • Track project and program expenditure and income with support from Finance and Admin Officer
  • Support Finance Admin Officer to prepare financial reports for projects and programs
  • Review and finalise financial report, including invoices/receipts documentations to donors
  • Support External Audit process if necessary

Oversee Program Communication
  • Oversee Program website page, social media content, promotions and materials to ensure they are professional, up to date and consistent
  • Work with Communication Officer to develop communication and promotion strategy
  • Work with Communication Officer to evaluate and improve communication and promotion activities and strategy
Assist the Country Manager and team as needed
Requirements
  • University Degree (or equivalent) in engineering, education, economics, business, law, IR or management
  • 3 years or more work experience, including volunteer or internship experience
  • Previous experience in program coordination and/or project management
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, people and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English and Khmer
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online tools.
  • Previous experience in supporting or writing activity reports and managing budgets would be a plus
  • Experience in presentation and facilitating workshops and training would be a plus

  • Keen to support youth/university capacity building
Available to work full time - Please note that EnergyLab organizes many events during the weekend.
