We concluded CEW 2025 with the Clean Energy Awards (CEA), held on 9 October at the Australian Ambassador's Residence. Presided over by H.E. Derek Yip, Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, the event featured a keynote address by H.E. Dr. Eang Sophalleth, Minister of Environment, followed by reflection remarks from Mr. Natharoun Ngo Son, EnergyLab's Regional Director for Energy & Economic Growth, in the presence of Mrs Bridget McIntosh, Chair of EnergyLab Asia board.

The Clean Energy Awards 2025 recognise and inspire outstanding efforts, innovations, and initiatives advancing Cambodia's clean energy transition. We warmly congratulate this year's award recipients for their remarkable contributions:

• Clean Energy Champion Award: Dr. Kinnaleth Vongchanh, Lecturer-Researcher, Program Manager, and Founder of the Cambodia Energy Manager and Auditor Training (CEMAT) Program, and Head of the Thermal Laboratory
• Most Impactful Clean Energy Community Project Award: UNICEF Cambodia
• Energy Efficiency Award: Sela Pepper Co., Ltd.

These leaders demonstrate that clean energy is both a climate imperative and an economic catalyst for Cambodia's development and competitiveness.
