EnergyLab Asia Hosts Roundtable on Clean Energy Transition Curricula

On December 4th, EnergyLab Asia convened its 'Roundtable on Clean Energy Transition Curricula: Gaps and Opportunities' with TVET institutions, universities, and NGOs. We presented findings from a desk review of educational programs supporting clean energy transition and workforce studies on skills needed for Cambodia's electric vehicle, energy efficiency, and renewable energy targets.

Discussion revealed curricula lack practical programs for critical technical skills: electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and energy transition policies. Representatives want to develop relevant courses if appropriate support becomes available.

EnergyLab Asia will support institutions through our expertise and materials. Participants identified key priorities: developing a skilled workforce, strengthening industry-TVET collaboration, and creating instructional materials.
