On March 28, EnergyLab Asia welcomed 21 fearless fellows into CEF Cohort 2, 2026. Professionals from across sectors. Ready to question everything, challenge everyone, and help reshape how Cambodia powers itself.
Session 1 wasted no time. Fellows dove headfirst into the questions that keep energy experts up at night:
How do we make renewable energy affordable for every Cambodian? How do we build infrastructure bold enough to match Cambodia's solar potential? How do we future-proof our energy system against an unpredictable climate?
These are not thought experiments. These are the decisions that will determine Cambodia's energy future for generations.
"Pursuing renewable energy is not only about addressing climate change, but also about building resilience and strengthening long-term economic sustainability." — Chhuon Kim Sreng, CEF Fellow 2026 Cohort 2
Over the sessions ahead, these 21 fellows will interrogate, innovate, and emerge as the leaders Cambodia's clean energy transition needs.
The work has begun. The impact will last.
Thank you to our partners Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Cambodia and Clean Break Fund for powering this mission forward.
