Three Days, Real Impact: Energy Modelling Training Strengthens Laos's Energy Future

EnergyLab Asia is thrilled to have successfully organised a 3 days energy modelling training at EDL, from 25-27 March 2026.

The training dove deep into energy modelling using open source tool, PyPSA with practical examples of Laos hydro cascades. From modelling to addressing real challenges in operational dispatch and scheduling.

We also had the opportunity to visit the solar laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering, National University of Laos marking a great step forward in strengthening our understanding of integrated energy systems!
