Celebrating Women in Energy: EnergyLab Asia Joins Oxfam for International Women's Month

This Saturday, we joined Oxfam in Cambodia to celebrate International Women’s Month with a powerful conversation on women leading Cambodia’s clean energy future.

Our own Sokphalkun Out, Energy Policy Manager and Government Relations, shared her journey from passionate clean energy advocate to navigating the complexities of policy work. She was joined by inspiring women from government, business, and local communities - all demonstrating that Cambodia’s 70% renewable energy target by 2030 will require us to work together in unprecedented ways.

For Cambodia’s energy transition to succeed, women’s participation and leadership must be at its centre. Women are not just beneficiaries. They are essential agents of change as energy users, workers, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers.
