Over 100 Engineers Students Explored the Future of Energy at Southeast Asian Energy Outlook to 2050 seminar

What an incredible turnout at the “Southeast Asian Energy Outlook to 2050” seminar last Monday! Over 100 energy and engineering students from different universities came together to learn about the future of clean energy in our region.

We were honored to have Ms. Sue-Ern Tan, Head of the IEA Regional Cooperation Centre, present key findings from the Southeast Asia Energy Outlook 2024 report and discuss implications for Cambodia’s energy development pathway.

The panel discussion featured experts including Ms. Sue-Ern Tan from IEA, Dean Rizzetti , Energy Policy Director of EnergyLab Asia, and Dr. Kinnaleth Vongchanh, Lecturer and Researcher at Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) provided the students with invaluable insights on how their technical skills and field of study will be essential drivers of Cambodia’s sustainable energy future.

EnergyLab Asia is proud to support the Australian Embassy and the CapCEE project to organise this inspiring event. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute our expertise and help share regional energy knowledge with Cambodia’s emerging talents in the clean energy sector.
