We are looking for a
Communications and Design Coordinator
EnergyLab is seeking an enthusiastic, organised, flexible and adaptable Communications and Design Coordinator eager to communicate EnergyLab messages and programs to engage and inspire people.

Report to: Country Manager
Date: September 2021
Contract: Full Time (40 hours), Fixed Duration Contract until April 2024 (including 3-month probation)

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage EnergyLab and Clean Energy Week Websites
  • Create pages on our websites for our new programs and information platform – based on information provided by the program teams
  • Update pages for changes in programs, new supporters and partners
Branding and Design
  • Ensure consistent branding for EnergyLab materials
  • Support staff to ensure templates and presentations are on-brand
  • Create program branding:
  1. Work with project officers to create image for event registration pages
  2. Work with project officers to create design content for social media posts such as event promotion, activity promotion
  3. Work with project officers to create designs for banners, stands, brochures and other program materials
Photography and Videos
  • Ensure each EnergyLab event is captured through photography and, if relevant, videos
  • Program/Event/Message promotion – develop videos to promote programs or co-ordinate contractors to outsource video production
Social Media
  • Manage EnergyLab and Clean Energy Week Facebook and LinkedIn presence
  • Manage design and delivery of social media strategy for EnergyLab Programs and Events
  • Support the development of communication materials for posts
  • Ensure communication (photographs and relevant messages) for every EnergyLab event is posted on Social Media.
  • Manage Facebook Live activities
Communication Strategy
  • Work with program teams to develop communication strategy
  • Research audience and communication channels to reach them
  • Deliver communication strategy
  • Review strategies and report back on learnings
  • Keep Country Director advised on strategy
  • Monitor and research best practice in communication ideas
  • Initiate and draft newsletter with pictures and rough content
Other Activities
  • Support the Country Manager to engage with project/program stakeholders
  • Manage the filing and storing of all EnergyLab, photos, videos, promotional materials, strategies, templates on EnergyLab Drive
● 2 years or more work experience in communications, marketing, design or other relevant professions
● Proven ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure
● Experience in managing and posting on social media, video editing, graphic design
● Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
● Excellent written and oral communication in English and Khmer
● Able to work in a full-time job (Monday-Friday) and available for occasional weekend events
